I was having trouble getting mergPopActivity to work as well and spent a good few hours trawling the forum, going through the mergPop lesson on lessons.livecode.com but nothing worked.
After thinking about it for a while I decided to go back to basics and switched over to including the modules I needed in my app manually. Hey presto it worked. So it looks like it’s a bug in as much as LiveCode doesn’t spot you’re using the mergPop module in your code so doesn’t automatically include it when building the app.
Anyway hope this info is useful to any other poor souls struggling with this particular problem.
